Q-Soft was founded in 1988 by Mr. Abdulla Al-Hammadi as a software provider offering a breadth and depth of automation requirements and modern day technology solutions to the State of Qatar that still remains unmatched in the industry, making Q-Soft the first company of its kind in the country. By realizing of the necessity of technology in the growing and blooming oil and gas country, Q-Soft ventured into deep waters by providing a wide range of services - Turnkey software, system re-engineering, product development, information technology consultancy, IT security, QSM Consultancy, among others - and working closely with many important sectors of the economy. Q-Soft rapidly became a point of reference in the technology industry of Qatar, being the only company providing state of the art network solutions, design, network documentation and network audit. It also became the first entity in Qatar in the field of structured cabling and fiber optics. The growth of Q-Soft has been unstoppable, becoming a unique concept of excellence and understanding of the necessities of the always growing market.

In 1993, Q-Soft opened its Network Division focusing on developing and delivering technology services to assist enterprises in managing their networks and infrastructure.

In 1994 Q-Soft proudly opened its ELV 2005 Division covering, CCTV System, SMATV System, AV System, Access Control.

Today Q-Soft is a multinational company with a considerable number of dedicated professionals and experts waiting to provide its clients with all the solutions to their business problems. All projects carried out by Q-Soft are developed and installed by its in-house personnel and in-house experts, which makes Q-Soft a 100% local company that does not use external expertise or outsource any contractors.

Q-Soft currently operates in U.A.E under the banner of Cabletronics. Q-Soft has successfully implemented projects in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the company is planning to expand into other Middle East Countries so their quality services can reach the entire region.

One of Q-Soft's last ventures was opening their offices in India under the name of Q-Soft India Pvt. Ltd.
